- Disclosures Under Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation
The following disclosures are made pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 (“SFDR”) in respect of CORE Industrial Partners Fund III Parallel, L.P.
Transparency of sustainability risk policies (Article 3, SFDR)
CORE is committed to integrating environmental, social and corporate governance (“ESG”) principles into its business practices as well as its investment and oversight processes. CORE strives to follow the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment and has also adopted the American Investment Council Guidelines for Responsible Investing.
CORE will take into account ESG considerations in the course of its due diligence, investment analysis and in the monitoring of investments to the extent reasonably practical under the circumstances, subject in each case to its fiduciary duties and applicable contractual or other restrictions.
As part of CORE’s efforts to integrate ESG issues, where appropriate, it will conduct an assessment of ESG-related opportunities and risks with respect to a prospective portfolio investment. When material ESG issues are identified, they may be included in discussions with the deal team and/or the investment committee, and external advisers may be engaged to conduct additional ESG-related due diligence, as needed. Any ESG-related issues identified during the due diligence process, including any related corrective actions or next steps, will be appropriately documented in the relevant investment materials. CORE seeks to document and include any relevant ESG concerns in its investment committee memoranda.
No consideration of adverse impacts of investment decisions on sustainability factors (Article 4, SFDR)
CORE does not currently consider adverse impacts of investment decisions on sustainability factors as defined by SFDR. CORE has chosen not to do so presently as it considers its existing ESG policies and procedures to be appropriate and proportional to adequately identify and take into account potential negative externalities arising from its investment decisions. CORE continues to monitor regulatory developments with respect to SFDR and other applicable ESG-focused laws and regulations, including the implementation of related and secondary legislation and regulatory guidance and will, where required or otherwise appropriate, make changes to existing policies and procedures.
